Mission Context:

The Data & End User Tool entity is part of a department that manages applications used by relationship managers and oversees performance and commercial reports. The team is responsible for the architecture, modeling, historization, and organization of data, as well as data enrichment and quality of its own platform. The covered perimeter includes Priority Banking, Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Investment Services. To evolve its platforms, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to reinforce the Data & End User Tool team.

Function Description:

The Senior Data Engineer will work on the integration of data, transposing business needs into solid and integrated data within the platform. Key objectives include:

• Prototyping solutions to support business validation.
• Designing and developing “logical” and “physical” data models and data stores.
• Industrializing the feeding and deliveries from integrated data stores (data warehouse, data marts, data sets).
• Streamlining data pipelines across the enterprise for maximum usage.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in either Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other language.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.

Education:

Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or engineering (a PhD is considered an advantage). Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply.

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site & 50% homeworking.

Required Experience / Knowledge:

At least 5 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.

Technical Experience (Mandatory):

• Data modeling
• ETL development
• Scheduling of jobs
• SQL Server DB management
• SQL language (transactional and scripting)
• SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Base (is a must)
• Microsoft Office preferable

Business Experience (Preferable):

Knowledge of a bank environment is a plus.
