Solutions Architect Position
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Work Regime: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Define options and provide recommendations for migration from legacy to new event-driven and service-focused architecture.
- Deliver a coherent end-to-end IT solution that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure IT solution alignment with Enterprise engineering and architecture standards.
- Maintain end-to-end consistency of solution delivery across platforms and teams.
- Collaborate with security to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Establish infrastructure requirements and collaborate with infrastructure teams.
- Develop technical and infrastructure design guidelines, patterns, and standards.
- Lead the implementation of prototypes and follow-on work.
- Present proposed solution architecture and plans to management, customers, and team members.
- Act as technical authority for the new solution under the new technical stack.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in implementing Event Hub technology (e.g., Kafka) and modern architecture (e.g., service-oriented architecture, microservices architecture).
- Experience in leading the implementation of platform-independent and database-independent applications.
- Experience working with Financial Market Infrastructure and/or regulated environments.
- Strong analytical and systems architecture/design skills.
- Database design skills in technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Proficiency in EDA technology - Kafka, commodity platform – OpenShift, containerization skills.
- Hands-on Object-Oriented Design and Java programming skills.

Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Messaging Standards ISO 15022, ISO 20022, and JSON.
- Experience in Agile development.
- Familiarity with IBM MQ, Angular framework, HPE NonStop.
- Knowledge of Settlement systems (CREST).
