Job Title: Liferay Web Developer

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Freelance

Language Proficiency: Dutch or French

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using the Liferay platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of Liferay's architecture and features.
• Experience with Freemarker for creating presentation logic in Liferay setup.
• Expertise in creating dynamic and interactive web pages using JavaScript.
• Strong skills in building and styling web interfaces with HTML/CSS.
• In-depth knowledge of Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
• Familiarity with Git for version control and code management.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience in integrating and developing RESTful APIs is a plus.
