Job Title: Monitoring Engineer - Dynatrace Specialist
Start Date: April 2025
End Date: December 31, 2025 (with the possibility of extension)
Work Location: Brussel-Hoofdstad, 1 day per week on-site
Responsibilities:
- Participate full-time in the Monitoring Operations Center (MOC) program.
- Implement an end-to-end and transversal view of applications and infrastructure, focusing on critical business applications and their components.
- Set up MOC components in Dynatrace, including:
- Implementation of the event management process
- Creation and maintenance of dashboards, reporting, and alerting
- Setup and maintenance of the interface to the ITSM tool, APM 2.0 tool, and Zscaler ZDX
- Setup and maintenance of automation jobs for ITSM ticket creation and updates, CMDB maintenance, and testing using synthetics
- Setup and maintenance of correlation rules
- Analyze, prepare, and implement changes and releases, ensuring scope, timing, and planning are respected.
- Conduct Build To Run quality reviews.
- Create and maintain Technical User Guides and Operations Guides.
- Follow up on issues in an agile manner, adhering to scrum methodology.
- Collaborate with engineers and specialists from other teams, including infrastructure, development, and ITSM teams.
- Report to the service delivery manager.
- Work closely with other members of the monitoring team and the MOC.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience for senior roles; over 10 years for expert roles.
- Specialist knowledge and experience with Dynatrace.
- Strong understanding of ITSM processes, particularly incident, problem, event, and configuration management.
- Proficient in Dutch or French and English.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong team player with good communication skills (oral and written).
