DevOps Engineer - Senior

Role Description:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for assembling various IT components to create automated solutions. The role involves managing physical security applications such as building access management, alarm monitoring, fire panels, lifts, and electricity management, as well as handling technical interfaces using data ETL SSIS and Boomi. The engineer will work with third-party software integration and support the migration to an internal cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and integrate physical security applications and technical interfaces.
• Utilize ETL, scripting, and software integration skills.
• Support cloud migration and manage applications hosted on cloud platforms.
• Be available for on-call duties (24/7 availability within half an hour) for one week per month for incident management.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in either Dutch or French
• Fluent in English

Education:

Master’s degree or equivalent

Certifications (Nice-to-Have):

• Windows Server, Linux, Cloud, Networking, SQL

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site and 50% homeworking

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Technical expertise in ETL - SSIS, application architecture, application security, software package installation, and troubleshooting
• Preferable experience with network security and cloud platforms (e.g., IBM, AWS, Azure)

Business Experience:

• Experience working in a large organization
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of physical security systems

• Availability and willingness to be on-call
• Strong coordination skills and ability to liaise with different teams
• Solution-oriented, persistent, proactive, and mature
• Commitment to continuous learning
