Product Owner Position
For a client, we are seeking a Product Owner to join the Marketing & Communication department. This role is focused on supporting the transformation towards a more agile and effective department. The position is based in Brussels with a start date of 16/04/2025 and an end date of 31/08/2025. The expectation is 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
Role Description:
As a Product Owner, you will work with a squad and stakeholders to determine priorities and translate the Marcom strategy into actionable projects. You will manage the Product Backlog, ensuring the structure and consistency of each Sprint.
Responsibilities:
- Capture marketing and communication needs and translate them into a squad backlog.
- Prioritize backlog items based on customer needs and strategic objectives.
- Resolve conflicting interests and manage limited resources or tight deadlines.
- Ensure objectives are clear before starting MarCom initiatives.
- Monitor backlog progress, team speed, and performance.
- Conduct business reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.

Education:
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree.
- Agile certification is a plus.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
- Preferable experience with Adobe Campaign and Wrike.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and change management.
- Experience in marketing and familiarity with the daily reality of squads.
