Job Title: Linux Engineer

Function Description:

You will:

• Participate in infrastructure projects.
• Design and implement new technologies.
• Assess the existing Linux environment, determine necessary changes, and make recommendations.
• Be involved in the implementation and testing of new features.
• Automate repetitive tasks.

Tasks:

• Migrate from RHEL7 & RHEL 8 to RHEL9.
• Administer and make changes to RHEL 7, 8 & 9.
• Apply the latest hardening standards, automate configurations and controls.
• Identify impacted assets for vulnerability fixing, estimate impacts, design solutions, and automate processes.
• Migrate legacy environments to IAAS.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Certifications:

Plus

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: RHEL 7, 8 & 9, Ansible, Bash & Python, IBM Cloud, IAAS, Kubernetes, Docker, VMware.
• Preferable: Elastic Search, Windows Server, Network, Firewalls.
