Senior Business Analyst with Expertise in Individual Life Insurance

Duration: As soon as possible - 31/12/2025 (8 months, full-time)

Location: Brussels

Responsibilities:

• Analysis:
  • Analyze product and process differences between source and target systems in the context of life insurance policy migration.
  • Define and formalize associated requirements according to quality standards.
  • Identify process impacts of migrating individual life insurance policies.
  • Ensure clear understanding between business and IT.
• Testing:
  • Prepare and execute process and calculation tests.
• Monitoring:
  • Act as an intermediary between business and IT teams.
  • Provide regular reporting on the progress of activities.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders (IT, Operations, Business, Distribution, etc.) and develop trustful relationships with clients and suppliers.

Profile:

• Imperative knowledge of individual life insurance products and processes.
• Expertise in “Classique” products.
• Experience in life insurance migrations.
• Proven successful experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong commitment to project quality and deadlines, with a "can-do" attitude and flexibility.
• Autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to obtain necessary information.
• University degree in mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
• Familiarity with at least one standard business/process analysis methodology.
• Proficient in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Structured, organized, and pragmatic with good priority management.
• Strong adaptability and learning ability.
• Detail-oriented while capable of finding the effective level of abstraction based on context.
• Effective communication with all audiences (actuaries, IT experts, management, etc.).
• Client and results-oriented.
