Service Description:

The Senior Business Architect will join a central department focused on Strategy Implementation and Transformation. The role involves collaboration with business analysts, portfolio managers, and program managers, specifically within the Customers, Markets, and System (CMS) department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the target Business Architecture of CMS in alignment with the department's vision and strategy.
• Develop and implement the Information Strategy within the CMS Department, including:
  • Identifying and defining Data Domains and assigning Data Owners.
  • Defining Conceptual Business Information models using standard toolkits.
  • Determining necessary Business Capabilities for the target Information Architecture.
• Identify business and data products, and lead decision-making through business architecture activities.
• Support capability-driven steering and priority setting by providing capability heatmaps.
• Lead initiatives to define and validate Architecture Blueprints in collaboration with Domain and Solution Architects, involving Business Stakeholders and Business Analysts.
• Ensure alignment of IT architecture and roadmap with Business Architecture and Business Roadmap.
• Contribute to refining Architecture methodologies, frameworks, tools, and training.
• Participate in meetings to ensure effective implementation of business and data architecture.
• Stay updated on the latest developments.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Customer, Markets, and System activities in the utilities sector is a major advantage.
• Proven senior experience (more than 5 years) in business and information architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Solid knowledge of defining a Business Architecture framework and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Domain Driven Design (DDD), Software Integration Patterns, Platform technologies, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Meshes.
• Experience with UML, BPMN, and Archimate is essential.
• Fluent in French and Dutch.
• Fluent in English for international collaboration.
