Role Description:

As a Resilience/IT Continuity Engineer, you will be part of an enthusiastic and multidisciplinary IT Continuity team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the organization's ability to react to critical failures of applications or data centers. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to embed rules defined by regulators and manage activities ensuring reactivity during critical application failures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and follow-up on the delivery and validation of Application Impact Analysis (AIA), Continuity Run Book (CRB), and Disaster Recovery (DR) Unitary Exercise documents.
  • Act as the main contact for several tribes on all resiliency topics.
  • Conduct recurrent follow-ups with Tribe Continuity contacts regarding changes impacting deliverables and progress on AIA, CRB, and DR Unitary Exercises.
  • Contribute to transversal DR exercises, including validation of CRB readiness and detailed capacity studies for infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to prepare and collect required information for DR exercises.
  • Plan DR exercises by identifying risks and preparing mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate the execution of DR exercises, which may occur during nights and weekends.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a resiliency engineer or in a related role such as security engineer, OPS engineer, or architect.
  • Strong interest or expertise in the resiliency domain, with the ability to communicate expectations and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Proficient in technology landscape, stakeholder management, communication best practices, and reviewing/validating architecture and technical diagrams on resiliency topics.
  • Familiarity with processes and procedures and their importance.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in one or more of the following domains: Windows, Linux, Mainframe, Cloud, Application development, Databases, Middleware.
  • Excellent knowledge of English; Dutch/French is a plus.
  • Strong team player with a focus on involvement, openness, respect, and courage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and a drive for continuous improvement.

Language Proficiency:

Excellent knowledge of English. Dutch/French is a plus.
