Senior Business Analyst (Security Platforms)

Responsibilities:

• Develop effective relationships with business units, divisions, or groups of users.
• Ensure required IT services are identified, developed, and supported to the satisfaction of the business unit/division.
• Establish and maintain service level agreements and act as the main point of contact for all service issues.
• Serve as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
• Evaluate new applications and identify systems requirements.
• Assess new IT developments and evolving business requirements, recommending appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
• Prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

General Description:

• Responsible for translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications if necessary.
• Possess sound knowledge of the organization's systems and processes, expertise in the business area, and current technology advances and IT capabilities.
• Work mostly on parts of the analysis processes of major projects and may work alone on small-scale standard projects.

Role:

• Design or modify information systems through the process of business analysis; identify user needs, document requirements, and translate them into proper system requirement specifications.
• Consider computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis.
• Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Assist in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how these automated functions are integrated into the rest of the business and IT processes.
• Conduct interviews with internal and/or external clients to understand business requirements.
• Focus on analyses and provide advice on an incidental basis.

Qualifications:

• Graduate with more than 3-5 years of experience.
• Experience in analyzing moderately complex business requirements, processes, and IT systems.
• Affinity for security and preferably experience in finance.
