Data Engineer Positions

For a client in Henegouwen, we are seeking 2 Data Engineers:

• Languages: French (C2), English (B1)
• Start Date: 01/07/25
• End Date: 31/10/25

Role Overview:

Join the Factory Data team utilizing Azure data technologies within a data hub context on the company’s data platform.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop ingestion flows via Fabric Data Factory.
• Create data transformation flows using Fabric Factory Notebook.
• Model data in Azure Cosmos DB.
• Expose data through APIs using Azure Functions.
• Transfer data via SFTP.
• Establish and execute plans for automatable unit tests.
• Conduct unit tests.
• Draft technical documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Medior experience (3 to 5 years) as a data developer/data engineer.
• Experience with non-relational databases, ideally Cosmos DB.
• Proven experience with cloud data tools (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in .NET/C# (Azure Functions).
• Experience with Python and the Spark framework (PySpark).
• Familiarity with Git & CI/CD.
• Knowledge of good safety development practices.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Proven experience in the Azure ecosystem.
• Mastery of Fabric Data Factory and/or Azure Data Factory.
• Mastery of Synapse Spark, Fabric, or Databricks.
• Azure Data Engineer Certification (DP-203).
• Azure Fundamentals Certification (AZ-900).
• Certification Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700).
• Theoretical knowledge in UML modeling (Class diagram).
