Functional Analyst Job Description

DESCRIPTION

As a Functional Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging business continuity projects. Our goal is ambitious, and we are looking for someone to help us achieve it.

Tasks:

• Define the scope and requirements of the project in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop the "ideal" solution considering IT strategy, business requirements, and priorities.
• Document and specify the solution, including use cases and information modeling.
• Provide functional support and guidance to Execution teams.
• Collaborate with users, developers, architects, project managers/Scrum masters, and the team throughout the development process.
• Support business acceptance tests.
• Ensure business continuity for financial flows.

Experience:

The ideal candidate should:

• Have proven experience as a Functional Analyst in integration projects within a multi-component landscape, including both modern and legacy applications and infrastructure.
• Possess broad knowledge of technological environments integrated with mainframe and ERP systems using an ESB, batch data transfer, MDM tool, etc.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
