- Understand domain requirements and design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business needs.
- Model data/information flows, select the right pattern and associated integration tool (e.g., CDC, Batch processing, streaming, etc.).
- Assess the data workload and identify the right integration method/pattern across various integration endpoints, ensuring efficient and scalable data exchange.
- Work closely with engineers to design and optimize data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, business analysts, solution architects, and enterprise architects to align data architecture with project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in data architecture and data governance.
- Identify and assess the master data requirement for the program and align with the MDM team.
- Develop architecture decisions and guidance for database selection with consideration to cloud platforms (if in scope) and/or for hybrid-cloud scenarios.
