Job Title: Windows System Engineer

Role Description:

We are looking for a Windows System Engineer to join our client's IT Server Team. The role involves supporting intranet environments and secure networks. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and utilizing the TrendMicro security suite, with a focus on host-based firewall management.
• Overseeing SCCM environments.
• Managing Windows Remote Desktop environments.
• Designing, hardening, and supporting Windows server operating systems.
• Providing third-level support across these domains.
• Writing and troubleshooting complex scripts.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Senior-level operational experience in a Microsoft Windows Server environment.
• Proven knowledge and experience with Active Directory, SCCM, and TrendMicro or similar security products.
• Strong understanding of host-based firewall and general security.
• Experience in enterprises with approximately 2000 servers and 5000 users.
• Advanced scripting knowledge, particularly in PowerShell.

Language Proficiency:

• Must be fluent in French and Dutch (one must be native).
• Proficiency in English.
• German is a plus.

Additional Technical Experience (a plus):

• MECM, SCOM, Splunk, PRTG, Linux, ADFS, Infoblox, Big-IP F5.

Non-Technical Skills:

• Strong team player with planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems independently.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• Quick learner of new products and environments.
• Capable of writing and validating processes and documentation.
• Accountable and flexible beyond standard working hours.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
