Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for new IT systems.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of existing processes and applications to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop comprehensive documentation of conceptual business requirements and detailed functional requirements to clearly articulate business needs.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and IT solutions, providing clarification and guidance as needed.
• Contribute to and review the design of application user interfaces to ensure usability and effectiveness.
• Lead a workstream (data migration, processes, or interfaces) and collaborate with project managers to ensure successful implementation of IT projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in IT to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Engineering.
• 3 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable deliverables.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Expert knowledge and proven experience with model-driven structured analysis techniques such as business process modeling, logical data modeling, business rule specification, business service specification, and use case analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required):

• Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
• Extensive experience with data visualization.
• Profound understanding of Domain Driven Design concepts (specifically strategic design).
• Proficiency with SQL scripting and database management.
• Experience in logistics.
• Experience with Jira and QTest.
• Proficiency in French, Dutch, or German.
