Job Title: IT DevOps Coach

Mission Context:

We are looking for a DevOps Coach expert to enhance the way of working within the IT organization. The goal is to provide product development teams with maximum autonomy in developing, testing, and deploying applications. The DevOps Coach will guide these teams in adopting best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and must possess strong technical and coaching skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coach squads to improve deliverables by analyzing their current situation and assisting in building improvement plans.
• Train teams on services such as Software Craftsmanship, BDD/TDD, CI/CD, Value Stream Mapping, Agile Testing, Gherkin (DSL), and Trunk-based development.
• Collaborate with squads and other DevOps coaches to enhance processes and resolve key pain points.
• Facilitate relationships with tools teams and ensure development teams utilize available tools effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in implementing continuous build, integration, and deployment systems.
• Strong development profile with coaching experience and a good understanding of the SDLC.
• Experience working in or with Agile development teams and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Impact mapping, story mapping, and example mapping.
• Experience with Java development, build, and administration of continuous build and integration platforms.
• Proficiency with source code (Git) and artifact repositories (Nexus).
• Experience with scripting languages for automation and code scanning tools (Sonar/Fortify).
• Experience with containers (Docker) is a plus.
• Experience in mobile development tools for Android and iOS platforms is a plus.

Language Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of English.
• French and/or Dutch is an important plus for interactions with clients, co-workers, and external partners.

Education:

• Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
