IT Technical/Functional Analyst

Role Description:

We are looking for an expert technical/functional analyst to join a dynamic Java development team. The role involves building, maintaining, training, and coaching within the scope of document management for the entire IT organization.

Responsibilities:

• Study business requirements and provide functional solutions.
• Create detailed analyses of product capabilities.
• Participate in architectural conception and translate business requirements into functional models.
• Participate in the release management lifecycle.
• Validate expected functionalities implemented by the development squad.
• Contribute to the documentation of functional products.
• Collaborate with business analysts, clients, architects, product owners, and involved squads during various project phases.
• Ensure coherence between functional specifications and developed solutions.
• Support implementation squads and review product functionalities.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Good in Dutch and/or French
• French: Good in Dutch and/or French
• English: Fluent in written and spoken English

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in IT.

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site and 50% homeworking.

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Functional and technical knowledge of existing IT systems.
• Experience as a functional/technical analyst in an agile XP-environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Professional experience as a developer, with the ability to coach junior developers.
• Understanding of Continuous Delivery principles.

Preferred Experience/Knowledge:

• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, etc.).
• Knowledge of the technical domain.
• Experience with Scrum.

Soft Skills:
