Role Overview:
Join the EUI End User Computing (EUC) team to develop professional solutions for everyday business challenges. This position involves analyzing requirements, designing, developing, and documenting new IT applications, as well as maintaining and supporting existing ones. You will actively participate in the continuous improvement of end-user applications, security environment, support, infrastructure, tooling, and documentation. The role requires strong collaboration with both technical and non-technical internal stakeholders and an understanding of the risk and control framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Collaborate with internal customers and colleagues to develop and maintain end-user applications.
- Application Support: Provide support for existing end-user applications.
- Standards and Methodology: Proactively identify areas for process and technology improvements, considering industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement within the team and the wider organization.
- Role Model: Serve as a role model for less experienced team members.
Competencies:
- Education and Experience:
- Strong skills in Excel and VBA, with up-to-date experience, particularly in the Excel object model and VBA programming.
- Proven experience in building, supporting, and maintaining End User applications (Tactical tools).
- Strong ability to elicit requirements from End Users.
- Ability to plan work, divide it into smaller units, and accurately estimate the effort and time required.
- Ability to report clearly on work delivered, benefits realized, and challenges encountered.
- Understanding of the risks associated with End User applications and how to control them.
- Desirable:
- Experience with SQL databases and other programming languages, especially in the context of EUC modernization.
- Leadership: Ability to be the lead point of contact for the team on specific projects.
- Impact and Influence: Ability to explain problems and opportunities clearly to support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage expectations and provide input for stakeholder prioritization.

Additional Requirements:
Must be available to work two days a week on-site in Antwerp.
