Process Engineer / Business Analyst

Location: Brussels

Start Date: 01/07/2025

End Date: 31/12/2025

Telework Expectation: 50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Mission Context:

The Process Engineer / Business Analyst will document a holistic view of the organization’s strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. The role involves bringing business needs, capabilities, technology, and processes together efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement new business (sub)processes aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Adjust and improve existing processes for customer satisfaction, efficiency, and risk management.
  • Define needs and test changes to applications.
  • Conduct analyses and studies on process improvements.
  • Liaise with operational teams and maintain documentation for standardization and incident resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines.
  • Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases.
  • Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results.
  • Participate in quality management reviews.
  • Execute the business analysis effort through all project phases.
  • Guide change management processes to ensure mastery of new or changed processes.
  • Collaborate with Business and IT partners to ensure solutions meet customer and employee needs.

Within the Agile Framework:

  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team to define, build, test, and implement products or services.
  • Help deliver stories in planned sprints, focusing on executing the sprint backlog.
  • Organize work independently, estimating task scope and complexity.
  • Commit to work during sprints or trimesters.

Education and Certification:

Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience.

Language Requirements:

Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.

Experience:

3 to 5 years of experience.

Technical Experience:

  • Mandatory: Knowledge of the business context and process improvement techniques.
  • Preferable: Experience in writing business requirements.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to structure and model.
  • Efficient facilitator and communicator.
  • Strong ability to convince, influence, and negotiate.
  • Customer-oriented and driven to meet expectations.
  • Team player with an analytical mind and conceptual thinking.
  • Able to work independently with a quality-minded approach.
  • Fully endorses Scrum values: focus, openness, commitment, respect, and courage.
