Function Description:
The Project Officer will contribute to various projects, focusing on onboarding different entities into the IT ecosystem and end-user support services. Responsibilities include:
- Agreeing on project goals (priority, budget, scope) with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and stakeholders.
- Defining project steps and planning (project breakdown).
- Launching and coordinating activities.
- Monitoring progress, ensuring deadlines and budget adherence.
- Identifying and managing risks and issues.
- Reporting to line management and stakeholders.
- Identifying areas for improvement and automation to enhance efficiency.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English, French, and Dutch.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to the Netherlands or Paris, approximately four times a year.
Telework:
50% on-site (Brussels) & 50% homeworking.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
- At least 5 years of experience in a large IT environment.
- Technical experience is mandatory.
- Affinity with and knowledge of end-user tools (hardware and software) is preferable.
- Experience with Service Management Tools (Service Now) and Asset Management Database (CMDB).
- Automation skills (Power Platform).
Business Experience:
- Proven experience in project coordination.
- Strong organizational insights.
- Familiarity with various IT systems is preferable.
- Experience in a support environment (helpdesk, field support) and associated processes.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to see the overall picture (helicopter view).
- Structured approach and result-driven.
