Job Title: Enterprise Architect

Mission Context:

As an Enterprise Architect, your mission is to design and implement a robust, scalable, and secure architecture that supports strategic objectives in the rapidly evolving payments landscape. You will ensure the coherence and sustainability of IT solutions and systems according to enterprise strategy, considering internal and external constraints such as risk, cost, and delay. You will be responsible for the design, documentation, and changes in reference architectures within your domain of responsibility, participating in the simplification of IT systems through continuous improvement actions.

Key Activities:

• Define and maintain parts of the Enterprise Information Architecture and design architecture for IT projects.
• Define and maintain the cartography of IT-assets (as-is and to-be).
• Translate business strategy and new objectives into changes in the architecture.
• Advise on the adoption of new technologies and concepts to keep architecture in line with market and available technologies.
• Support integration of architectural methodology and other procedures, including project management and IT development methods.
• Design solutions respecting project milestones and budgets while evolving the current architecture towards the target.
• Follow up on realization; document and report implementation deviations to feed Reference Architecture and suggest realignments.
• Perform certifications and homologations of solution architectures impacting the domain.
• Lead the Architecture and Security Review Board.
• Ensure group norms and standards are followed.

Deliverables:

• Project architecture, asset architecture, reference architecture
• IT architecture strategy
• Application portfolio strategies
• Application diagrams, system maps, service interfaces, technical interfaces
• Architectural studies, architectural principles

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Active knowledge of at least one local language + passive knowledge of the other language
• French: Active knowledge of at least one local language + passive knowledge of the other language
• English: Very good

Education:

• Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
• Architecture certifications (Project Management certification is nice to have)

Telework:

• 3 days onsite: Tuesday, Thursday, and one day of choice
• 2 days offsite

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• Business experience: >5 years in Architecture, >5 years in Acquiring, Issuing, or Payments
• Experience in small or medium companies is a plus

Technical Experience:

• Generalist able to tackle both technical and business aspects
• Hands-on architecture experience in Acquiring, Issuing, and Payments domains
• General knowledge of financial services
• Data architecture preferable
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud technology & Cloud packages integration, API architecture
