Job Title: OPS Engineer Production Support

Mission Context:
The agile production services team is responsible for supporting Daily Banking, Payments, Risk & Credits. The team collaborates closely with release engineers to support application releases on the infrastructure, providing 24/7 support and on-call services. The focus is on maintaining operational quality and ensuring IT service reliability, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and timely market implementations. Participation in business continuity plans is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide second-line support for applications (both non-production and production environments).
- Coordinate production deployments, including the creation of runbooks and follow-up during the deployment process.
- Monitor, document, and manage the lifecycle of environments, ensuring a smooth handover to operations (H20).
- Operate autonomously while adhering to established processes.
- Manage incidents and problems with a constructive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Collaborate with applicative tribes for IT operational support.
- Be flexible and available to work outside normal business hours, including on-call duties (7/7, 24/24).
- Work effectively with colleagues from different countries.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the IT environment with team support.
Education:
Master’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Experience and Knowledge:
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Ability to understand complex technical architecture design documents
- Proficient in Control-M on Unix/Linux and Windows
- Experience with TIBCO Businessworks for services deployment, restart, monitoring, and log analysis
- Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., IBM)
- Understanding of network components (Firewall, load balancer) and protocols (TCP, HTTP, TLS)
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Overall IT knowledge (Windows, Unix & Linux environments)
- ITIL knowledge
- Experience with Websphere Application Server, MQ, Oracle, and log analysis
- Proficiency in Shell scripting; Powershell is preferable
- Knowledge of infrastructure and applicative performance monitoring
- Mainframe knowledge is preferable
- Banking application knowledge is mandatory
