Senior IT Project Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join the program and project management department. The role involves managing one or more data projects within an infrastructure environment, such as developing APIs for various projects. The successful candidate will ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget, and will primarily interact with internal teams and departments. This position requires both project management skills and a technical background.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare the project plan for assigned projects.
• Ensure project delivery according to schedule, budget, scope, and quality.
• Ensure governance and prepare the steering committee with relevant stakeholders.
• Define project timelines and milestones.
• Manage risks and issues related to project delivery.
• Clarify high-level scope and technical synergies between different sub-projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards and best practices across all projects.
• Manage a team of internal staff and/or external contractors.
• Proactively propose technical solutions and innovations.
• Prepare progress reports, issues, and risks for the customer and program manager or relevant stakeholders.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks.
• Develop active and consistent communication with different stakeholders.
• Manage conflicts (technical and non-technical).
• Facilitate operational functionality of project groups and other stakeholders.
• Define roles and responsibilities of project teams and stakeholders.
• Follow up on possible changes and deliverables-related feedback from the customer continuously.
• Engage in people management, team coaching, and training.

Technical Profile Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Project Management in the IT sector, specifically in data storage, modeling, and application development.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and development environments.
• Agile mindset.
• Certified in PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent by experience.
