Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect

Location: Brussels (2 days per week on-site)

Start Date: 22nd July

End Date: End of March 2026, with an option for extension
 

Responsibilities:

• Design solid foundations for the Data Platform in collaboration with subject matter experts, Solutions Architects, and Systems Architects.
• Support the product by aligning with stakeholders on technical solutions.
• Be a front runner for the product, discussing technical solutions with new initiatives.
• Support the design of Enterprise Data Architecture Blueprints.
• Actively participate in product development.
• Support Data Product Teams in scoping information domains and defining data products that generate business value.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 8+ years of experience designing Solutions and Blueprints as a cross-domain Enterprise, Data, or Solution Architect.
• 8+ years of experience designing Data Integrations within the Enterprise and with external parties, bridging Cloud and on-premise systems.
• Experience with SAP, S/4Hana, and SAP Datasphere, as well as other related technologies.
• 7+ years of experience establishing best practices, methodologies, frameworks, principles, policies, and processes.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design.
• Experience designing and using Data Models.
• Experience with messaging systems and/or Event Driven Architecture.
• Experience with data-intensive API and restful architecture.
• Proven experience in metadata management, data catalogs, and metadata harvesting tools.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• 3+ years of experience developing data-focused products (nice to have).
• Some experience designing Master Data Management solutions (optional).
• Some experience implementing Big Data and Data Lake (optional).
• Some experience working on data-mesh based Architectures (optional).
