Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications using Spring and related technologies.
• Lead the removal of technical debt and outline the future evolution of the main application, focusing on delivering customer value.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring high-quality solutions.
• Analyze and refine requirements to deliver new functionalities efficiently.
• Champion code quality, organization, and automation, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on technical expertise and clean code.
• Proven experience in leading technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle), messaging systems (Kafka), and service buses.
• Familiarity with SOAP and RESTful APIs, testing frameworks, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design, hexagonal architecture, Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus.
