Digital Business Analyst

Function Description:

The Digital Senior Business Analyst will identify and collect business needs, analyze and define the business model using conceptual modeling techniques and methods, and act as the interface between delivery and business teams, including IT. The role involves bridging the needs of the business with IT, proactively managing the roadmap and action list, and handling risk, quality, and issue management.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage requirements and communication, ensuring a good understanding of business needs.
  • Act as the liaison between all stakeholders and guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage refinement, plan and facilitate meetings, and ensure follow-up of all actions.
  • Participate in the search and delivery of realistic and effective solutions to complex business challenges, providing expertise in the search and implementation of digital solutions.
  • Identify the impact of business specifications and related system changes on existing processes and liaise with Process/Change managers.
  • Collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed business specifications for IT departments, using a user-centric, collaborative, and agile approach.
  • Build and maintain good relationships within Engineering, with Business partners, Operations, and various IT departments.

Education:

Master’s degree

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis within the digital transformation area.
  • Experience working on digital transformation projects in a consulting/client-facing environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of Agile-Scrum delivery frameworks and methodologies.
  • Good understanding of IT and a desire to further learn about IT solutions.
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis.
  • Good understanding of workflow processes is preferable.
  • Experience within a financial institution.
  • Strong IT affinity.
  • BPMN knowledge.

Business Experience:

  • Ability to plan, structure, and facilitate meetings.
  • Extensive experience working on digital transformation projects in a consulting/client-facing environment is preferable.

Soft Skills:

  • Analytical mind and conceptual thinking.
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.
  • Problem-solver with a quality-minded approach and attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented and open to change.
  • Eager to understand the strategy behind business requirements and provide recommendations.

Telework Expectation:

50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
