Role Overview:
As a Senior IT Resilience Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of business operations and effective Incident Management. This role encompasses Major Incident Coordination, Problem Management, and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Major Incident Coordination:
- Manage and coordinate major IT incidents impacting critical business services.
- Establish and lead a taskforce for incident investigation and troubleshooting.
- Ensure effective communication with users and stakeholders.
- Organize changes as change owner and document incidents.
- Lead post-incident analysis and problem resolution.
- Problem Management:
- Design, implement, and improve the Problem Management process.
- Ensure process compliance and monitor performance using KPIs and SLAs.
- Collaborate with Process Owners and technical teams for process integration.
- Provide training and support audits for governance and compliance.
- Disaster Recovery Plan Management:
- Plan, implement, and maintain measures for system and data recovery.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure business continuity post-disaster.
- Perform periodic testing of disaster recovery plans and train employees.
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security protocols, and data recovery measures.
- Ability to identify vulnerabilities and develop risk management plans.
- Proven experience in Disaster Recovery Plan Management.
- Senior-level experience (5+ years) in Incident and Problem Management.
- Experience in IT operations management with a focus on incident and resilience management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with professional proficiency in the second language.
- Proficient with ITSM Tools (e.g., Omnitracker, ServiceNow, Remedy).
- Experience with ITIL V3/V4 processes (certification preferred).
- Training in risk assessment, crisis management, and emergency response planning.
- Professional level of English.
Experience Required:
- 5 to 10 years in a large technical and operational context or a complex IT department.
- Proven experience as an IT Incident Manager and in Disaster Recovery Management.
This role requires the ability to lead efforts during Out of Business Hours incidents in case of severe issues.
