Medior Java Developer
We are looking for a Medior Java Developer for one of our clients.

July 2025

End date:
31/12/2025 (with possibility of extension)

Location:
Brussels

Language requirements:
NL/FR-speaking with good knowledge of the other national language and English

Responsibilities:
Correct and high-quality implementation of the stories
Efficient communication with stakeholders such as business/functional analysts and solution architects
Full code coverage with unit tests
Automating integration tests and contributing to E2E testing
Active participation in refinements for developing solutions
Making and defending technical improvement proposals
Analysing integrations with other parties and systems
Taking non-functional requirements into account
Developing technical design
Collaborating with infrastructure staff for installation and follow-up of applications
Thorough documentation of software

Profile:
Thorough knowledge of OracleDB, PostgreSQL, Java 8+, Java EE7, Quarkus
Experience with Jenkins (pipelines), ArgoCD, Openshift, Docker, Gitlab
Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-class systems
Critical thinking with good analytical and synthesis skills
Able to work independently and in a team
Sense of quality, accuracy and a no-nonsense mentality
Results-oriented, proactive and dynamic
Experience with (Weblogic) application servers
Ideally, knowledge of tools and technologies such as IntelliJ, Postman, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Cucumber, Jira, K6, Grafana
Agile mindset and willingness to contribute to the scrum story
Eager to learn
Knowledge of other languages and/or scripting (e.g. Gherkin, Groovy) is a plus
Knowledge of low code development (OutSystems) is a plus
We are looking for someone who can start quickly and has experience working in a Scrum team.
