Solution Analyst 

Location: Brussels

Language Requirements:

• Dutch/French: Native proficiency with a good knowledge of the other language.
• English: Good knowledge.

Start Date: 01/08/2025

Contract Duration: Until 31/12/2025, with possible extension.

Role Overview:

The Solution Analyst will analyze and translate functional and non-functional requirements into a functional/technical design, considering the existing architecture, projects, and technical possibilities. The role includes implementing and maintaining specific applications/configurations and providing end-user support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Requirements:
   • Review and critically evaluate high-level business requirements.
   • Prioritize and validate requirements for the Minimal Viable Product.
   • Define, weigh, and check the project scope.
   • Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories.
   • Conduct impact analysis and propose solution alternatives.
2. Functional Analysis:
   • Gather relevant functional and technical information.
   • Perform functional analysis in collaboration with business representatives.
   • Document outcomes of functional analyses extensively.
3. Technical Design:
   • Conduct technical analysis to ensure it meets functional requirements.
   • Ensure the development of a manageable system that integrates with existing IT systems.
   • Adjust parameters/configuration in systems as needed.
4. Compliance with Standards:
   • Work in line with company standards and monitor their implementation.
5. Project Follow-up:
   • Provide workload estimates for various project phases.
   • Ensure project alignment with standards, priorities, budget, and timelines.
   • Act as a key actor in testing phases and support project management.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar functional and technical role.
• Experience in Mainframe/CICS environments.
• Good transversal knowledge.
• Experience with Enterprise Architect & Jira.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Very strong analytical skills.
• Proactive, agile mindset with a flexible, fast-thinking approach.
• Stress-resistant and assertive.
• Experience with SCRUM.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with commercial Front applications.
