Project Management Officer

Medior PMO Position

Location: Brussels

Responsibilities:

  • Support program and project managers in coordination, guidance, and communication tasks.
  • Act as the guardian of program/project methodologies.
  • Prepare and follow up on steering committee(s).
  • Ensure follow-up of initiatives/projects.
  • Enhance coordination and communication between Business and IT.
  • Consolidate monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Maintain the roadmap, including follow-up and challenge of risks, issues, and milestone planning.
  • Create presentations on specific topics.
  • Provide guidance and support to projects on demand.
  • Support the development of roadmaps for specific topics/initiatives.
  • Assist in change management activities.
  • Collaborate closely with PgM/PM for resource and cost follow-up.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in PMO and/or Project Management.
  • Knowledge of PMO & project management methodologies is a plus (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, or PMI standards).
  • Experience with program/project management tools is a plus (e.g., Sciforma, MS Projects).
  • Proficient in Dutch and/or French and English.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Autonomous and capable of managing and respecting (program) deadlines.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills for effective decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Proactive and a problem solver.
  • Skilled in risk identification and mitigation.
  • Result-driven and assertive.
  • Effective stakeholder management, including executives, team members, and external partners.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
