For a client, we are seeking an experienced Team Manager to temporarily lead a team of junior reporting analysts within a data-driven environment.

  • Duration: Until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension
  • Work Schedule: Full-time
  • Remote Work: 2 days remote, 3 fixed days in the office
  • Languages Required: English/Dutch

Role Description

We are looking for a Team Manager with a strong focus on people management, coaching, and performance improvement. The team is newly composed and requires guidance to deliver on a strategic reporting roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of 7 junior reporting analysts
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups and regular one-on-one meetings
  • Prioritize and follow up on the team’s roadmap and backlog
  • Ensure timely delivery of reporting outputs
  • Support team members in understanding and executing reporting tasks
  • Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders to clarify reporting needs
  • Drive performance management and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the strategic evolution of the team’s services and ways of working

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in an analytical field (e.g., Business Engineering, IT, Data Science, etc.)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data/reporting environments
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a people management role

Must-Have Skills

  • Working knowledge of QlikSense
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and data environments
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Performance management experience
  • Proactive and strategic mindset

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Dutch language skills
  • Prior experience within telecom/data environments
  • Affinity with technological or network data (e.g., delivery KPIs, operational software testing KPIs)
