We are looking for a DevOps/Cloud Engineer for the Automation Platform Team for a client in Brussels.
Start date: As soon as possible

Duration: 3 months (with option to extend)

Working hours: 5 days a week, 1 day a week onsite in Brussels.

Languages: ENG/NL or ENG/FR

Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to planned projects within the Automation Platform Team.
Migrate from a GitLab environment to a GitHub SaaS environment.
Roll out an internal HashiCorp Vault environment.
Modernise the existing CI/CD infrastructure based on Jenkins and contribute to a long-term roadmap.
Implement a high-availability solution for container storage and migrations from the existing Nexus environment.

Tasks:
Contribute ideas about the solution architecture of existing and new tools such as Nexus, GitHub, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Sourcegraph.
Assist in the operational management of these tools and existing SaaS tooling such as Udemy, Miro, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence.
Take the lead in migration projects related to development tooling.
Communicate with the Development Community.
Develop self-services to support migrations.
Draw up guidelines and correct structures for the use of the tools.
Provide support to development teams in the use of these tools, including troubleshooting and developing sample applications.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Experience with AWS cloud environments.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform and Ansible.
Understanding of security, authentication and authorisation, Active Directory, MS Entra.
Experience with container environments such as Docker/Podman and Redhat Openshift or Kubernetes.
Skill in using and monitoring Linux environments.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD environments such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub.
