We are looking for two Data Platform Engineers for a client.
Period: ASAP – 30/09/2025

Location: Brussels

Language skills: Dutch and/or French + English

Responsibilities:
Development and management of a modern, holistic data platform in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
As an IT Custodian, you will be a key figure within the Data Platform team, responsible for the design, implementation and advanced optimisation of the big data processing pipeline.
Processing and transforming generic data from the platform, with a focus on collection, integration, storage and logic from various data sources.
Performing data analysis and modelling, and collaborating with Data Scientists to scale up machine learning models and algorithms.
Optimising performance issues and maintaining the platform for optimal operation.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science or a related field involving big data.
At least 5 years of experience with data pipelines, cloud technologies, and strong skills in data modelling and data warehousing.
Familiarity with technologies or concepts such as: Apache Spark, Python, notebooks, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Microsoft SQL or DBT, Azure Data Platform Stack (including Synapse Analytics, Lakehouse, Fabric, Semantic Model, Power BI).
Experience with cloud computing, data engineering, big data processing, performance optimisation, and Azure Data Platform architecture.
