Senior Data Quality Analyst Position

Role Description:
The Data Quality Analyst will be part of the Data Governance Centre of Expertise, working under the Chief Data Officer. The primary mission is to modernize and control data repositories, governance, management, and usage. The role aims to safeguard revenue streams, enhance efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and create an adaptable platform.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data cleansing by analyzing and resolving data quality issues.
- Identify, prioritize, and define data quality problems.
- Analyze root causes and propose solutions.
- Follow up on the implementation of solutions through IT development, process updates, or manual corrections.
- Apply change management actions for impacted teams.
- Monitor data quality using dashboards and support redesign and upgrades.
- Contribute to designing, monitoring, and reporting on common reference tools like data definitions, dictionaries, and glossaries.
- Raise awareness of data quality importance within the Data Community.
Language Requirements:

- English
Education:
Master’s degree required.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Quality Analysis within a banking environment.
- Understanding of data lifecycle and usage.
- Strong analytical abilities.
Technical Experience:
- Proficiency in Office tools (Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Stakeholder management is preferable.
- Knowledge of banking databases.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Ab Initio).
- Development and/or use of dashboards (e.g., Tableau).
- Experience with Business Objects.
- Familiarity with digital culture and the digital ecosystem.
- SQL, SAS, Python knowledge is a plus.
Business Experience:
- Ability to perform data analysis demonstrating business impacts.
- Banking experience, particularly in credit risk, is preferable.
