We are looking for a skilled Solution/Application Architect to join a growing and dynamic international team within the insurance sector. Based in Liège, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping IT solutions that align with enterprise standards and effectively support development, deployment, and operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient, scalable IT solutions tailored to business needs.

• Define and maintain architectural standards, including security, backup, and disaster recovery policies.

• Collaborate across IT teams to develop technical solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Support project and strategy leaders in aligning IT projects with overall business goals.

• Oversee implementation processes and ensure deliverables meet architectural specifications.

• Plan the rollout of new IT solutions, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption.

• Address and resolve complex architectural challenges within the IT landscape.

Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in application/solution architecture; background in development is a plus.

• Expertise in TOGAF or similar architectural frameworks.

• Strong grasp of enterprise architecture principles and IT security best practices.

• Proficient in BPMN and architectural modeling tools.

• Ability to identify user needs and translate them into actionable technical designs.

• Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Up-to-date on emerging technologies and their potential business impact.

• Fluent in French, with a good command of English and the other national language.
