Role Description:
A Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined objectives. This role involves overseeing projects that are distinct from regular business activities, requiring collaboration among a team to achieve specific goals. The Project Manager will ensure the desired outcomes are achieved using the most efficient resources while satisfying various stakeholder interests. Additionally, the Project Manager will contribute to defining and developing the project governance approach within the new Marketing & Communications department and share best practices with fellow project managers.
Responsibilities:
- Project Setup:
- Agree on project objectives with management and stakeholders.
- Ensure project effort and cost estimation.
- Ensure project planning and sourcing, including staffing and subcontracting.
- Project Monitoring:
- Ensure availability of all project deliverables, adhering to scope, quality, costs, and deadlines.
- Monitor and manage project risks.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise rules and standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain project documents to reflect changes.
- Publish regular progress reports.
- Contribute to project steering committees.
- Project Representation:
- Participate in steering committees and meetings.
- Facilitate communication between business and stakeholders.
- Project Handover:
- Align and share information with parties responsible for post-project activities.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English and at least one local language (Dutch or French).
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Project Management certifications.
Experience and Knowledge:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in project management methods, processes, and tools.
- Experience in Agile environments is preferable.
- Experience managing complex projects in rapidly evolving environments.
- Preferable experience in Marketing & Communications projects and the financial industry.
