Description:

Our organization is currently using One Identity Manager version 9.2, along with the legacy Web Designer Portal. We have several custom configurations applied within the IT Shop module, which need to be preserved and ported as we migrate to the new Angular-based One Identity Portal. We are seeking an experienced professional or consultancy with deep knowledge of One Identity Manager (IDM) and the Angular Portal framework to lead this migration effort. The role will focus on analyzing existing customizations, translating them into the Angular platform, and ensuring a seamless transition with feature parity and minimal business disruption.

Mission Objectives:

• Assess and analyze existing Web Designer Portal customizations within IT Shop.
• Design a migration strategy to the Angular Portal (per One Identity’s latest architecture and best practices).
• Port and adapt custom configurations (forms, workflows, policies, etc.) into the Angular Portal.
• Ensure all migrated features meet functional and security requirements.
• Collaborate with internal IT staff for knowledge transfer and post-migration support.
• Validate and test the new Angular portal environment against acceptance criteria, ensuring operational continuity.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to the in-house IAM team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a detailed review of current Web Designer Portal custom code and workflows.
• Map legacy portal components to Angular Portal architecture and APIs.
• Develop, configure, and customize Angular Portal modules (particularly IT Shop).
• Collaborate with IAM architects to align portal security, roles, and entitlement models.
• Perform user-acceptance testing on migrated features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any migration-related defects.
• Deliver clear migration guides, runbooks, and training sessions for administrators.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years hands-on experience with One Identity Manager (version 8.x or 9.x).
• Proven track record migrating from Web Designer Portal to Angular Portal.
• Proficiency in:
  • TypeScript, Angular framework (v8+).
  • HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles.
  • RESTful API consumption and integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of IAM concepts: roles, policies, workflows, entitlement management.
• Experience with IT Shop module customization and service catalog design.
• Familiarity with One Identity’s Migration Toolkit and best practices (as per official guidance).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and code-review skills.

Preferred Skills:

• One Identity Web Designer Portal development experience.
• Knowledge of C# and .NET for backend extension points.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Prior consulting engagements in Identity Governance and Administration projects.
• Familiarity with One Identity’s Angular migration documentation and video resources.
• Good communication skills for stakeholder interviews and cross-team coordination.
• Ability to work independently and provide expertise on a short-term mission.

Engagement Details:

• Duration: 50 to 100 days to be delivered during a period of 3 to 6 months (flexible based on scope)
• Location: Remote or hybrid (must overlap CET hours)
