UX Researcher/Designer

Mission Description:
The UX Researcher/Designer will be responsible for shaping the user experience of websites. The role involves leading user research, defining personas, facilitating strategic workshops, and designing information architecture and navigation. Collaboration with UI designers, business stakeholders, project managers, and the product owner is essential to ensure a seamless and impactful user experience.
Mission Tasks:
- Lead UX research activities and document findings in the Research repository.
- Prepare and facilitate workshops on functional framing, ideation, and co-design with key stakeholders.
- Collect insights into user needs and feedback throughout the project using appropriate research methods.
- Analyze user behavior and website performance using tools like Matomo and heatmaps.
- Create personas and experience maps through user research and data.
- Define interaction models and evaluate their success via measurable criteria.
- Identify business processes and use cases, define and formalize user journeys, or recommend improvements.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Present ideas, concepts, and design solutions to various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the UI Designer to ensure consistency with the design system.
- Contribute to team efforts by participating in broader UX Chapter activities.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in design thinking in the context of agile projects.
- 7 years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- 3 years of experience with interaction design and information architecture.
- Fluent English is mandatory; German, Dutch, or French are a plus.
- Ability to create low-fidelity wireframes in Figma and user flows.
- Proficient in design software (Figma), presentation software (PowerPoint, Miro), Matomo, Heatmaps, etc.
- Ability to use a design system in Figma is a plus.
- Ability to use the research tool Condens is a big plus.
- Experience with Sitecore XM Cloud or similar CMS platforms is a bonus.
- Formal qualification (master's degree, certification, etc.) in UX is required.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with large groups of stakeholders.
- Able to write processes, documentation, and presentations.
