Service Description:

The organization is transitioning towards data-centricity, where data becomes a central element in strategy execution, evolving into a data-driven company. As Data Advisors within the corporate department, the goal is to facilitate and drive the entire organization to leverage data as an enabler to achieve its targets, including strategic ambitions, innovation, transformation themes, objectives, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to improving the Data Governance methodology by providing field feedback.
• Work with a business purpose, focusing on data, organization & people, processes, and technology.
• Understand and analyze business needs.
• Seek solutions that provide quick benefits while ensuring sustainability in the mid-term.
• Provide advising and training through on-the-job coaching to Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Business and IT teams.
• Continuously review and ensure the transversality of the Business Glossary by formalizing business definitions of data and their purpose.
• Manage expectations and collaborate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, departments, and product teams.
• Excel at uniting people with diverse backgrounds to achieve common goals.
• Act as an ambassador of One Team for the Customer, always generating business value.

What You Will NOT Be Doing:

• Acting from an Ivory Tower.
• Defining Data Governance methodology but influencing its evolution through field feedback.
• Making decisions for the business; instead, advising with careful logic.
• Managing the data community, engineering, or development teams.
• Defining the details of solutions architecture or implementing technical solutions.
• Developing systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with similar projects, missions, or employments.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Management activities, including:
  • Data Governance (Mandatory)
  • Data Quality Management (Mandatory)
  • Metadata Management (Mandatory)
  • Master Data Management (Mandatory)
  • Data Classification, Data Privacy, Data Security, CIA Measures (Optional)
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics (Optional)
  • Big Data (Optional)
  • Data Modeling (Optional)
  • Data Integration & API (Optional)
• Rapid understanding of the business as a Transmission System Operator and its underlying concepts.
• Language skills: Fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: Dutch, French, or German.
