Agile Coach

Mission Context:
The Agile Coach will assist in implementing the 'agile way of working' by guiding teams, individuals, and guilds in their development and facilitating the necessary culture change for a sustainable and successful anchoring of agile practices. The ultimate goal is for the team or target group to become self-coaching and adept when the coach departs.
Responsibilities:
- Guide teams, guilds, and individuals in implementing the agile operating model by applying suitable techniques.
- Assess the maturity and knowledge of the methodology within the team to determine the most appropriate techniques.
- Motivate employees to embrace the 'agile way of working,' including its values and behavioral characteristics.
- Actively participate in operational meetings, monitor the quality of methodology use, propose tailored work processes, and make recommendations.
- Lead change management efforts related to the new methodology, including organizing training, mentoring, and individual coaching as necessary.
- Customize training, documentation, and working documents to simplify the learning process and implementation of the methodology in daily operations.
- Ensure optimal knowledge of the methodologies used within the entities or target groups.
- Collaborate with fellow agile coaches to propose, discuss, and implement continuous improvements.
- Facilitate and coordinate agile ceremonies (squad, tribe, guild, etc.) or ceremonies around specific themes.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English, with sound knowledge of English and at least one local language.
Education and Certification:
Certification in one or more methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, Safe, Less, DA, or DevOps.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Proven experience in a complex organization for at least 6 years.
- Excellent knowledge of the agile operating model, including product, process, people, and technology.
- Experience in facilitating groups, aiding in the learning process, and leveraging team dynamics is preferable.
- Extensive experience in coaching is preferable.
