Business Analyst / Functional Analyst – IT Asset Management

Our IT Process Office aims to support daily work with efficient, effective, risk and security-embedded processes that are easy to use and comply with. We are currently seeking a driven Business Analyst / Functional Analyst to enhance our IT Asset Management capabilities. You will be at the forefront of transforming IT processes through innovative solutions, analyzing requirements, identifying gaps and improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively create cost-effective IT solutions in an agile manner and support problem-solving initiatives with a focus on sound end-to-end processes.
• Coordinate with IT Process Managers to ensure integration and standardization across related processes (e.g., incident, change, request management).
• Gather and validate requirements from stakeholders across IT, business domains, and regulators, translating them into working solutions.
• Perform root cause analyses and formulate remedials in case of issues.
• Support testing and validation of new features and process changes, contributing to change management activities.
• Document processes and configurations clearly, maintaining traceability of decisions and actions.
• Collaborate with System Architects to analyze and optimize the IT asset management data model, ensuring alignment with different requirements.
• Support epics where process aspects are important.

Tools & Technologies

• JIRA, Confluence, Office 365: For collaboration and documentation.
• Visio: For process documentation.

Nice to have:

• ServiceNow: Core platform for asset and configuration management, integrated with multiple systems.
• TRAcIT: Supporting tools for governance and compliance.

Your Profile

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Dynamic, proactive, and result-driven.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new content and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to translate complex messages in a clear, simple way.
• Team player.
• Interest in IT processes (knowledge of SDLC and asset lifecycle management is a plus but not a must).
• Experience with data quality measurement and process improvement is a plus but not a must.
