For a client we are seeking a Functional Analyst.
Job Description:
You will work on front-related topics within our transformation roadmap. Your role will involve developing the solution definition to achieve a high-quality end-to-end IT solution, creating an excellent user experience for brokers and partners. Relevant experience as a functional analyst within an insurance context is required, with a strong focus on user experience (UX), translating user needs into intuitive and effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis and documentation within the product team of broker front.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements based on business analysis, architectural vision, and imposed standards.
- Participate in workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Model agreed processes and describe needs clearly for business, technical analysts, design team, and offshore Back-Office team using use cases and structured documentation.
- Ensure coordination and knowledge transfer between all parties involved, both within business and IT.
- Maintain and update design guidelines.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality IT solutions within the set scope, time, and budget.
- Collaborate effectively with external parties, both onsite and offshore.

- Proficient in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
Experience:
- Experience with functional analysis in larger insurance organizations, preferably non-life.
- Familiarity with analysis and modeling techniques such as BPMN and UML, including use cases, is a plus.
- Medior to senior level with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to learn and master designer tools (Enterprise Architect, Adonis...).
- Familiarity with Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ900 – Azure Fundamentals).
