Lead Coach – Digital Transformation
Location: Brussels
Role Overview:
As the Lead Coach, you will spearhead the coaching practice within a large-scale digital transformation initiative. You will lead a team of Agile & Product Coaches, driving the adoption and maturity of new ways of working across the organization using a scaled agile framework and driving more efficient delivery. Your mission is to foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer-centricity, enabling teams and leaders to deliver value faster and more effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and execute the coaching strategy aligned with the organization’s digital transformation goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Coaches, ensuring consistent and high-impact coaching across domains.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align agile practices with business objectives and transformation roadmap.
Framework Implementation:
- Guide the adoption and scaling of the Product Model framework across multiple teams and departments.
- Ensure alignment between agile practices and governance, compliance, and delivery standards.
Coaching & Enablement:
- Coach teams, Tribe Leads, Product Owners on agile principles, roles, and ceremonies as defined within the Products and Capabilities Model.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and agile maturity assessments.
Change Management & Culture:
- Act as a change agent, helping teams and leaders navigate the cultural shift toward agility.
- Identify and address organizational impediments to agile adoption and performance.
- Work with the core team to define standards in digestible, teachable formats.
- Collaborate with change team to simplify and explain Product Model concepts.
- Help design learning materials and methods.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement:
- Define and track agile maturity and performance metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve agile practices and team effectiveness.
- Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading agile transformations in large, complex organizations.
- Deep expertise in agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale, Spotify, etc.).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Scrum Professional, AgileCertified Expert) are a plus.
