Job Title: Senior Functional Analyst

Start Date: 22/09/2025

End Date: 31/12/2025 (with possible extension)

Location: Brussels

Work Regime: Full-time, 2 days in the office, 60% homeworking

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch/English or French/English with at least a passive understanding of the other national language.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders as part of the product team.
• End-to-end responsibility for user stories.
• Refine EPICs into user stories and lead the user story mapping process.
• Write and validate user stories in collaboration with the product manager.
• Refine user stories with the development team.
• Validate developed stories against acceptance criteria.

Technical Skills Required:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Rest API, Swagger, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Jira, Confluence, UML, and data modeling.
• Ability to create wireframes with Figma using best practices in UX design.

Interview Process:

• First round: 1-hour interview with the Team Lead and HR via Teams.
• Second round: 1-hour technical interview onsite with N+2.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
• Advanced skills in Confluence, Jira, Modelisation, RESTful API, and SCRUM.
• Intermediate skills in UML, UX Design, and MS SQL Server.
