For a customer we are looking for a Portal Manager.

Period: 22/09/2025 – 31/12/2025 with option to extend
Location: Brussels
Language skills: Dutch and / or French + English

As a portal manager within the ANPR team, you are responsible for the management and operational coordination of the camera network and the number plate recognition systems. You have a strong technical background and understand the operation of hardware, firmware and network infrastructures required for a reliable camera ANPR system. In addition, you follow the latest evolutions in camera technology and proactively propose optimizations. You manage risks in a mitigation plan.

Main tasks:
Manage the inventory of cameras.
Provide technical support in the event of malfunctions and problems, including diagnosis and solution.
Monitoring and maintenance of cameras with the supplier.
Guiding and managing onboardings and offboardings of cameras with different stakeholders.
Preparation of reports and analyzes of the performance and uptime of the camera park.
Tracking down SLAs and escalating supplier performance where necessary.
Validate technical proposals from internal and external partners.

Additional tasks:
Support in the billing process by validating the technical delivery.
Follow new developments in camera technology and advise on improvements and investments.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Training, experience and competences:
Diploma in computer science, electronics, engineering, network technology or equivalent through at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Technical knowledge of CCTV, ANPR systems, networks (TCP / IP, PoE, VPN) and firmware updates is a plus.
Experience with hardware and software configuration of camera systems and servers is a plus.
Knowledge of cyber security and GDPR guidelines related to camera images is a plus.
Experience with systems and programs for ticketing, reporting, knowledge management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to manage various stakeholders in terms of content.
Methodical and accurate.
A self-starter with a critical eye.
