Job description:
We are looking for an expert with more than 10 years of experience who can independently perform data management and data engineering activities.
Responsibilities:
Developing master data management and metadata management into a data glossary and data dictionary.
Performing high-quality and secure data analyses, from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive analyses.
Migrating data to the Azure Cloud data platform, taking into account established security policies and architecture.
Implementing solutions for internal and external stakeholders using data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
Drawing up and translating architectural data design into action points for implementation.
Collaborating with stakeholders to grow the organisation's data maturity.
Required qualifications and experience:
Degree in computer science from a recognised European college or university.
Continuous training in the latest sustainable trends and innovations, with a focus on data management and data engineering.
At least 10 years of experience in data management within complex organisations.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with master data management, metadata management, data quality, data governance, data integration, data security, and data analysis.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience with on-premise and cloud data engineering.
Experience with data pipelines, data storage, data migrations, data collection, and data processing.
Experience with SAP BO and Power BI as data visualisation tools.
Experience with Azure Cloud data platforms.
Experience working within agile teams.
Ability to propose alternative solutions and formulate recommendations.
Desirable skills:
Experience with API design/definition and development.
Experience with microservice development and integration.
Experience with software design (cloud, API, microservice, event).
Experience with event-driven architecture and systems.
Knowledge of Event-Driven and/or Behavioural-Driven Development.
Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English and a good knowledge of Dutch or French is essential.
Attendance:
Be present at the office at least 3 days a week to promote team spirit and the start-up of initiatives.
