IT Front-End Functional Analyst
Start Date: 1st October 2025
Duration: 1 year with the possibility of extension
Location: Brussels (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Language Proficiency: Dutch and/or French, plus English
Role Overview:
Join the Front-End team responsible for developing front-ends and web applications. As a Functional Analyst, you will bridge the gap between IT divisions and Front-End developers, ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional analysis and documentation for development projects, including activity diagrams, class diagrams, and API mappings.
- Support developers and produce communication estimates.
- Engage with various IT divisions and business clients to challenge and validate requirements.
- Oversee user stories from validation to testing, acting as the single point of contact for developers.
- Design solutions based on business needs and architectural deliverables, proposing mockups when necessary.
- Collaborate with developers to translate functional concepts into technical solutions.
- Coordinate development efforts and communicate project status to leaders.
- Guide developers through the development process and prepare test cases.
- Support acceptance testing and organize application go-live.
- Ensure long-term application quality, focusing on stability, scalability, and performance.

Technical Experience:
- Mandatory: Experience in IT, Object-Oriented principles, understanding of technical front-end architecture and frameworks (.Net).
- Preferable: MVC Design Pattern, technical background in .Net and web development.
Functional Experience:
- Mandatory: Proven experience in analysis, gathering functional requirements, writing functional designs, planning workshops, and knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies.
- Preferred: Experience in front-end analysis and agile software development.
