Service Description:

There is an ambition to become a more data-centric organization to enhance the quality of system operations and ensure the security of supply for consumers. Data is increasingly vital for supporting operational, tactical, and strategic activities and decision-making. Critical data domains have been identified, and a dedicated data quality roadmap is being implemented.

We are looking for two Operational Data Lead services to drive the data quality strategy of several critical operational data domains. Responsibilities include developing data quality strategies, and creating roadmaps for data domain evolution. The role involves defining and monitoring KPIs related to data quality activities and managing action plans for KPI improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Define and document Business Concepts, Business Terms, Business Rules, and Business Impact for a given business domain.
• Lead root cause analysis in collaboration with Data Partners when KPI values do not meet targets.
• Actively contribute to projects aimed at anchoring data quality processes executed by operational teams.
• Follow up on KPIs, define and align corrective actions, and improvement levers with operational managers.

Requirements:

• Preferably an engineer or similar technical academic background.
• Experience in data management and exploitation; similar experience is advantageous.
• Proactive and eager to take responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate workshops and lead when necessary.
• Familiarity with data models and IT architecture.
• Analytical skills to address complex problems in a simple and structured way.
• Familiarity with processes and tools related to Data Governance, Data Quality management, and Metadata management.
• Ability to combine collaboration and team spirit.
• Persuasive skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French and proficiency in English.
