Helpdesk Officer

Part-Time Helpdesk Officer

Start Date: 20/10/2025

End Date: 31/01/2026

Location: Brussels

Work Regime: 60%

Responsibilities:

  • Handle call and mail intake.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line services.
  • Create and follow up on tickets in the Helpdesk ticketing tool.
  • Execute various technical actions based on processes and checklists.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch, English, and French.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different work locations.
  • Proficient in Windows 10 and 11 (use, configuration, and troubleshooting).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (2016/O365).
  • Basic knowledge of software such as MS Visio and Adobe products.
  • Familiarity with DOS commands.
  • Experience with user management using Active Directory.
  • Basic understanding of VOIP.
  • Experience in TCP/IP (VLANs, POE, Wifi, 802.1x, horizontal cabling, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of videoconferencing and domotics (meeting rooms).
  • Troubleshooting skills for smartphones and GPS.
  • Basic knowledge of Wifi, VPN, IT network topology, VMware, and software virtualization.
  • Experience in staging hardware (user-oriented – PC).
  • Basic knowledge of hardware (PC, printers, and peripherals).

Skills and Certifications:

  • ITIL certification.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create and update tickets in the Helpdesk Tool.
  • Respect for procedures and follow-up on checklists.
  • Ability to take responsibility for own actions.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Flexibility and proactivity.
  • Client-oriented and professional demeanor.
